'There is nothing better than a young person to evangelize another young person'; these were the words used by the Bishop of Palencia, Spain, when we asked him about the purpose of the project “Rome ‘25, the Way of James ‘27, Jerusalem ‘33.”

It is a path where young people will have the opportunity to accompany other young people toward that turning point, what we would call in the Church a ‘kairos,’ a special time, which will be 2033.
This initiative is driven primarily by Christian youth from all over Europe who aim to prepare themselves and others for a renewal of faith throughout the continent and the world. The project is supported by three spiritual pillars: pilgrimage, evangelization, and healing.

The Compostela Holy Year must be a year of mobilizing young people to go. Not necessarily all converging in Santiago, but everyone entering the pilgrimage paths to feel how there is a…concrete reconciliation that Christ wants to accomplish with each of us.
More than 250,000 young people have already signed the initiative's manifesto. But the list of signatories includes a special one: Pope Leo XIV's, a sign of his papal support for the project.

He also said, “I have a young spirit, I want to sign this manifesto, and now is the time to reactivate and highlight everything that has been done so far and make it known.” So we are in Rome working precisely on this with all the Vatican offices.
Journey to Redemption 2033, which is the name of this project, offers a guide map to young people seeking a deeper encounter with their own Christian identity and calling as the Church prepares for the extraordinary Jubilee of Redemption in 2033.
