Armenian Catholic Archdiocese of Aleppo partially destroyed during attack

June 4, 2014. The Armenian Catholic archbishop of Aleppo confirmed part of their complex was destroyed on Wednesday. Msgr. Boutros Marayati said there were no victims during the attack, only damage to buildings. The circumstances of the attack are unclear, but the city of Aleppo remains a key battleground between government and rebels in the three-year civil war in Syria. ;
