LIVE: Cardinal and rabbi present an important declaration about Christian-Jewish relations

The Vatican commission for relations with Judaism has prepared a document titled "The Gifts and the Calling of God are Irrevocable.� Cardinal Kurt Koch, who presides over the commission, introduces these reflections about theological questions regarding Jewish-Christian relations. It was prepared with the 50th anniversary of the Second Vatican Council declaration "Nostra aetate� in mind. Also participating are David Rosen of the American Jewish Committee and Edward Kessler, from the Woolf Institute.
