Israel and Palestine presidents accept Pope's invitation to the Vatican

May 25, 2014. Israeli President Shimon Peres and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas accepted the Pope's invitation to pray for peace together, at the Vatican. Pope Francis made the invitation during his Regina Coeli address in Bethlehem. The offices of the two Middle East leaders confirmed, and said the visit will take place sometime in June. ;
