Pope's prayer for peace with Israeli and Palestinian presidents scheduled for June 8

The Vatican announced that Pope Francis will meet with the presidents of Israel and Palestine to pray for peace on Sunday, June 8th. The Pope made the invitation in Bethlehem and Tel Aviv, during his three-day apostolic visit to the Holy Land. He offered to host the prayer service at 'his home' meaning the Vatican. ; Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli President Shimon Peres have accepted the invitation.
