The House of Charity "Nalukolongo Bakateyamba's Home� was founded in 1978 by Cardinal Emmanuel Kikwanuka. The center welcomes and helps one hundred people and their chapel is dedicated to the Ugandan martyrs. There is a 136-year-old tree in their garden planed by the missionary Simon Lourdel.
