Pope Francis has a busy week planned, and it may end up marking serious developments in the relationship between Catholics and Muslims.

Today, Pope Francis will celebrate Vespers to mark the Solemnity of the Conversion of Saint Paul the Apostle. It will take place at 5:30 p.m. at the Basilica of St. Paul Outside-the-Walls.

On Wednesday January 27th, Pope Francis will hold his weekly general audience. Thousands of pilgrims are expected to attend, and it will take place in St. Peter's Square or Paul VI Audience Hall, depending on the weather.

Following his meeting with Muslim leaders last week, it was reported that Pope Francis may visit the Mosque of Rome on the same day. That visit is likely to happen the same day as the general audience.

Additionally, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani is set to visit Rome this week and may stop at the Vatican for a visit with Pope Francis.

A special 'Jubilee Audience with the Pope will be held on Saturday at the Vatican.

As he usually does, Pope Francis will end his week on Sunday by leading the Angelus prayer from the window of the study in the Apostolic Palace. Pilgrims will gather in St. Peter's Square and pray alongside him.
