Pope at the Feast of the Annunciation: Christians must be men of the 'yes'

After Easter, the Pope resumed his Mass on Monday at Casa Santa Marta. As the feast of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary is celebrated, Pope Francis recalled when Abraham or Moses answered 'yes' to the Lord's call and encouraged the faithful to open their hearts to God and to say â??yesâ?? to his message of salvation. POPE FRANCIS "Today is a day to thank the Lord and to ask ourselves: am I a man or woman of â??yesâ?? or a man or woman of â??noâ??? Or am I a man or woman who looks away, so as not to respond?â?.  Pope Francis explained that there is a chain of 'yes' that begins in the Old Testament and that continues with Mary and Jesus and asked that Christians can get in the way of those that know how to say yes.  IPC/YA CTV VM -BN Up:YA
