The newly appointed FIFA President, Swiss-born Gianni Infantino, briefly met with the Pope last Sunday.

'We had the final of the Champions League and this is one of the medals from the match. 29 go to Madrid, and one for you.

'Thank you, and thanks for what you do.

It was a short meeting, but the dialogue was not wasted. The Pope was quick to mentioned the corruption within FIFA.

'Clear paths, put things back in order and honesty. And football is a weapon, in a good way, it serves as an educational and social integration with the kids.â?

'It's what we can do, Your Holiness, together. If you want...

'Education, social integration ...

'That's my project. Also education, development,...

'You can with soccer, go forward showing honesty and cleanliness. And offering all these positions ...

'We want to do just that.

'I regret to not being able to collaborate, because I no longer play.

'Me neither...

The FIFA president went to the Vatican with his mother and his wife to support the 'Match for Peace organized by the papal foundation Scholas Ocurrentes.

The match will be played in Argentina on July 10th and the proceeds will go to this organization that promotes the integration and education of young people.
