Pope Francis starts off his week with an eye on the General Congregation of the Jesuits and the imminent election of their new Superior General. Pope Francis will be the first person, outside the General Congregation, that will know the name of the 31st successor of St. Ignatius.
On Wednesday, the pope will celebrate his weekly General Audience, in St. Peter's Square, at 10 a.m., where he will be joined by thousands of pilgrims from all over the world. ;
It is expected that, at some point during the day, the pope will meet with some of the soccer stars ;that will be in Rome to play in the Match for Peace, like Maradona or Ronaldinho. The match will take place on Wednesday evening at the Olympic Stadium.
On Sunday, the pope will celebrate Mass and lead the canonization ceremony that will recognize seven new saints in the Catholic Church.

After the ceremony, at noon, the pope will lead the Angelus prayer in St. Peter's Square with thousands of pilgrims from all over the world. ;
