'Also today I would like to remember the pain of the people of Brazil because of the tragedy with the soccer team, and pray for the deceased players and their families. In Italy we understand this well because we remember the Superga Tragedy in '49. They are hard tragedies and we pray for them.'

In that accident 31 players were killed from one of the great European teams of the moment, the Torino soccer team, the winner of the last five Italian championships.
