Vatican launches new website for the Protection of Minors from sex abuse

The Pontifical Commission for the Protection of Minors (PCPM) has launched a website to provide the public with information about their mission: "the effective protection of minors and a commitment to ensure their human and spiritual development.â? It includes information and guidelines developed for priests and bishops on how to respond to abuse claims and how to achieve healing through prayer. All addresses by John Paul II, Benedict XVI and Pope Francis about the subject are also made public. As stated on the webpage, it is only available in a beta version in English at the moment, but will soon complete its final development and be available in Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and French. Therefore, regular updates from the commission will soon be available at www.protectionofminors.va.  MB
