King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of Holland visited Pope Francis for the second time.

'Your Holiness, what a fantastic opportunity. Thank you very much for receiving us again.â?

'Good Morning.'
'Your Holiness. How are you?'
'Very good...'

It was a very cordial and familiar visit, in which they spoke in both Spanish and English, because the queen is from Argentina.

'I welcome you from the heart.'

According to the Vatican, they exchanged views on 'protection of the environment and the fight against poverty, the phenomenon of migration, the importance of peaceful co-existence between different cultures, and joint commitment to promoting peace and global security.'

The king and queen gave him some tulips to plant in the Vatican Gardens.

In return, the pope gave them the three great writings of his pontificate, and a medallion with the history of St. Martin de Tours.

Then Pope Francis accompanied them to the door and asked them to greet their three daughters for him.

'Thank you and send my greetings to the girls. God bless you.'
