New vocations app wants Catholics to listen up

The next time young adults get a call from someone special, the National Office for Vocation in the UK wants them to pick up their smartphones. The organization's new app wants people to chat with God.

The God Calls app contains Scriptures, daily prayers, Church news and a database on the saints. In addition, it provides a journaling section for users to log their reflections.

This platform's goal is to give believers diverse hand-held resources to deepen their faith. It can be downloaded for free on Google Play as well as the App Store.

Now, each time people are within reach of their phone, they'll also be within earshot of the Lord's voice.
