Pope Francis visited the sanctuary of St. Albert Hurtado, where the Chilean Jesuit's tomb is located. St. Albert Hurtado founded the “Homes of Christ,” which tend to marginalized people.

First, the pope met in private with more than 90 Jesuits and later held a brief encounter with some of this center's beneficiaries and volunteers. The Holy Father blessed the typical Chilean sopaipillas that were prepared for the occasion and, of course, sampled them.

After meeting some people from the center's community, Pope Francis prayed the “Our Father” with them.

...While he continued enjoying the sopaipillas, the pope approached pilgrims who had been awaiting him for hours.
