Pope Francis bids farewell to Peru

Following his final Mass in Peru at Las Palmas Air Base, Pope Francis arrived at Lima Airport, where he met one last time with President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski and his wife.

Before boarding, an orchestra and choir resounded as the Holy Father bid farewell to the country's bishops and other officials.

Shortly after 7 p.m. local Peru time, the papal plane took off en route to the Eternal City, concluding Pope Francis' 22nd international visit and his sixth to Latin America.
