Cartoon Bible study book for children

Claudia Dattilo lives in Rome, while Jorge Tarifa and his family are in Buenos Aires. For months, though, they've been working together to compose a book explaining the faith to the little ones. This is the result.

Children must understand through drawings, they're what's catchy. In reality, the written part is the story, but a condensed version. The Bible images will stick much more with the children than the text.”

Miss Claudia Dattilo invited us to make a storybook, a book that would grab children, not be boring, be colorful. We went around showing it to children – first to my son Miqueas, who evaluated it – then we made it in Buenos Aires. We were collaborating with Claudia here in Rome, and yesterday we presented it to Pope Francis.”

Claudia says when she was young, she found it difficult to go to Bible study because it was boring and she forgot everything.

With this book, she hopes children have fun and the message stays in their minds, but above all, in their hearts.
