One of the fruits of the encyclical 'Laudato si'' by Pope Franics has been the Global Catholic Climate Movement. This organization brings together more than 650 institutions to help people of faith commit themselves to caring for the environment.

Their most important campaign is entitled 'Live Laudato si'.' Being a Catholic organization, they work to underline the moral dimensions of ecology.

Their website offers materials to explain in churches, schools and institutions what each person can do to take care of the planet. The solution to the environmental crisis depends not only on governments, but also on ordinary citizens.

'Governments have a very serious responsibility, but it is not only governments. All those in society: individuals, families, parishes, schools, local governments, businesses, unions. We all need to take action. That is the request of Pope Francis.'
Among the organization's campaigns are 'Fossil Fuel Divestment,' 'Earth Day' and 'Paris Climate Agreement.' Global Catholic Climate Movement is present on all continents and directly reaches at least one million Catholics.
