Images of seven future saints overlook St. Peter's Square

The facade of the Basilica of St. Peter shines with the images of seven future saints: Paul VI, Archbishop Oscar Romero, Nunzio Sulprizio, Vincenzo Romano, Francesco Spinelli, and two nuns, Maria Katharina Kasper and Bolivian Nazaria Ignacia de St. Teresa of Avila.

The tapestries of their faces are adorned on St. Peter's, as preparations for the canonization ceremony which will start on Sunday at 10 a.m. local Rome time. The ceremony will be presided over by Pope Francis.
