The pope sends his two main experts in the fight against abuses to Mexico. They are Maltese Bishop Charles Scicluna and Spanish priest, Jordi Bertomeu.

They will repeat the model they followed two years ago in Chile. The two will be in Mexico from March 20-27, to listen to those who want to report cases of child abuse or cover-up by the Church.

This is the announcement from the pope's nuncio in Mexico, in which he provides a telephone number and an email for those who want to speak.

According to the Mexican bishops, in the last 10 years, they investigated 271 priests for abuse and expelled 217 from the priesthood. That's why they ask the government to eliminate the statute of limitations for these crimes, which currently lasts 10 years.
