He offers a six-day reflection and retreat included in his book, “Be Not Troubled.” It is composed of moments of prayer based on the writings of Fr. Jean-Pierre de Caussade.

I think this book, 'Be Not Troubled' can be a particular gift during this time of quarantine. First of all, so many of the spiritual lessons of Fr. Jean-Pierre de Caussade are applicable. But also, it's an easy book to use.
He said each of the retreat days is “self-contained,” meaning it can be broken up as the reader deems fit.

'Be Not Troubled' is composed of six days, six sessions, so it can be six days in a row or it can be every Tuesday or Friday for six weeks, or some people said they were using it for First Fridays.
He offers it as a sense of hope, saying instead of dwelling on the way life used to be or what will happen, focus on the present.

The past and the future, they're not real. This is real, right here, the present moment. God is here and the grace that we need is here. I think that's a lesson we need in general in Western culture right now. I think right now, with this pandemic, it can be a particularly applicable lesson for each of us.”
He said the book contains a powerful message of hope, consolation and of God's presence. It is a reminder that each person is where he or she is supposed to be at the current moment and there is no need to feel alone or scared.
