Juan Ayuso is a 19-year-old business management and administration student from Aluche in Spain—a neighborhood on the outskirts of Madrid. Now he is using his music to combat the stereotypes ordinary people may have in mind about Christians.

“There are many social clichés that could still be very ingrained in people. So (my music) is about completely destroying those clichés and conveying that we Christians are normal people who like to have a good time and go to parties but that we also have our problems.”
Ayuso's music goes beyond strictly religious themes. His latest single, “We don't miss Paris,” for example, is about a love story.
In songs such as “We're going to heaven,” he sings about his complicated relationship with God.

“My musical progression, I think, is a result of my experience of faith, it is a path, a journey. Because in the end, when you create something and want to share it, it' something that you have lived firsthand and want to transmit to others.”
As an artist, Ayuso enjoys connecting with others through music and sharing what he has learned through his personal journey. He remembers one special moment he had after one of his concerts.

“I went to go sing at a school and there the children gave me a notebook in which they wrote what they thought about after hearing my music. It was a unique moment for me because it was like passing on what I wanted to share with the hearts of children.”
Ultimately, the message Juan Ayuso seeks to convey is that in order to get closer to heaven, one must live simply and seek God.
