Pope Francis stumbles while boarding plane to leave Greece

Pope Francis arrived at Athens International Airport to end his apostolic visit to Greece and return to Rome.

The Pope greeted civil and religious authorities before making his way towards the plane.

Lastly, Pope Francis exchanged some warm words with Greece's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias.

The wind conditions on the tarmac were very strong, and gave the Pope some trouble while climbing the stairs. But it didn't stop him from turning around to give his final blessing to Greece.

Pope Francis then left Greece to bring his 35th apostolic journey to a close only days before his 85th birthday.
