Pope Francis gives final blessing at Cardinal Tomko's funeral in St. Peter's Basilica

Cardinal Jozef Tomko was the oldest member of the College of Cardinals. He passed away at the age of 98 and his funeral was held in St. Peter's Basilica.

At the end of the Eucharistic celebration, Pope Francis presided over the Final Commendation and Valediction rite in Latin.

Cardinal Jozef Tomko was created a cardinal by Pope John Paul II in 1985.
