Pope Francis met with members of the International Catholic Legislators Network. He stressed the importance of promoting justice and peace, especially in these times.

If we want to heal our world, so severely tested by rivalries and forms of violence that arise from the desire to dominate rather than to serve, we need not only responsible citizens, but also capable leaders inspired by a fraternal love directed above all to those who find themselves in the most precarious living conditions.
This international network, founded in Austria in 2010, brings together legislators or political leaders from different parties and affiliations who share the desire to promote a more fraternal world in accordance with the principles of the Catholic faith.
