According to the French newspaper La Croix, the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, will travel to Rome from October 23 to 25.

He will participate in the international meeting for peace organized by the Community of Sant' Edigio. It is an event inspired by the 'Spirit of Assisi,' the initiative started by Pope John Paul II to promote inter-religious dialogue and to pray for peace.

According to La Croix, Pope Francis is scheduled to meet with Macron on October 24, although there is still no official confirmation. After the meeting with the Pope, Marcon will also meet with Cardinal Pietro Parolin and Archbishop Paul Gallagher.

If this meeting takes place, it would be the first since Macron's re-election and the third since he became president of France. The last time Pope Francis received him at the Vatican was in November 2021, where they had a conversation for more than an hour.
