How much would you pay for Pope Francis' watch?

The Pope has donated his watch to a charity auction. The proceeds will go to the Brian LaViolette Scholarship Foundation, dedicated to a watch-loving teenager who died in a swimming accident.

The bidding, whose value is estimated between $10,000 to $100,000, closes on November 30. It is already at $32,000. The Pope has worn this watch throughout most of his pontificate, including at General Audiences, private meetings and papal trips.

This is not the first time Pope Francis has donated personal items to charity. Two years after being elected pope, he organized a charity raffle with many of the gifts he had received during that time. The proceeds went to the homeless.

The Pope did the same thing in 2018 with a customized Lamborghini. It sold for $741,00 and the money was donated to various charities.
