LIVE: Pope Francis arrives in the Democratic Republic of Congo

Upon arrival at N'djili International Airport in Kinshasa, the Apostolic Nuncio and the Chief of Protocol board the plane to greet Pope Francis.

At the foot of the place, the Pope is met by Prime Minister, Jean-Michel Sama Lukonde Kyenge, and two children in traditional dress with flowers.

Following a performance by the Honor Guard, Pope Francis and the Prime Minister head to the VIP lounge for greet different delegations and a brief meeting.
