LIVE: Pope Francis meets with Sudan Catholic Bishops' Conference

The Archbishop of Juba, Stephen Ameyu Martin Mulla, and the parish priest greet Pope Francis at the entrance of St. Theresa's Cathedral, or Juba Cathedral. They give him a cross and holy water.

Once inside the Cathedral, the President of the Bishops' Conference, Bishop Yunan Tombe Trille Kuku Andali, greets the Pope.

Then a priest and nun give their testimony before Pope Francis speaks to the group. The audience ends with a group photo.

The Sudan Catholic Bishops' Conference brings together the bishops from both Sudan and South Sudan. It includes one metropolitan archdiocese with six dioceses in South Sudan and one metropolitan archdiocese and one diocese in Sudan.
