Pope Francis met with the National Institute of Insurance against Accidents at Work. It is an Italian public organization founded in 1933. The Pope told them that throwaway culture excludes women both in and out of the office.

POPE FRANCIS
There is a preemptive rejection of women out of fear of getting pregnant. ' A woman is less reliable because she can get pregnant.' And the person hiring things this: when she starts showing, it's better if she leaves work. This is the mentality and we have to fight against this.

The Pope also denounced the culture of basing your value on how much you produce. And he regretted the exclusion of people who struggle to be integrated into the workforce.

As he said goodbye to the group, he entrusted them to St. Joseph, patron saint of workers.
