Pope applauds journalists: May your work always be in service of the common good

After praying the Regina Caeli, Pope Francis recalled that Sunday was World Communications Day. This year, the day holds the motto: “Speak from the heart, in truth and love.”

POPE FRANCIS' MESSAGE:
World Communications Day is celebrated today, with the motto “Speaking from the heart.” It is the heart that moves us to open and welcoming communication. I greet the journalists and communications technicians present here today. I thank you for your work and I hope that it will always be at the service of truth and the common good. Let us applaud all journalists!
