Pope Francis celebrates Pentecost with Mass at the Vatican

The Vatican has confirmed that Pope Francis will preside at the celebration of Pentecost at 10:00 am on Sunday, May 28th in St. Peter's Basilica.

This was one of the messages that Pope Francis delivered during Pentecost in previous years.

The world sees conservatives and progressives; the Spirit sees children of God. A worldly gaze sees structures to be made more efficient; a spiritual gaze sees brothers and sisters pleading for mercy.

It is customary for the Pope to celebrate Pentecost in St. Peter's Basilica. On this occasion, he often encourages the Church to reflect internally.
