Pope Francis cancels Friday meetings due to fever

The Vatican clarified why Pope Francis did not have meetings on Friday. The reason stated is that he is in a “feverish state.”

The previous day, the Pope had a full schedule. He even left Vatican territory to participate in a meeting with youth.

After leaving the hospital at the beginning of April, Pope Francis resumed his normal schedule of audiences and trips, such as the one to Hungary. The Vatican also recently confirmed that his next international trip will be to Portugal in early August.
