In the Paul VI Hall at the Vatican, a concert was held in honor of Pope Leo XIV. Conducted by Maestro Riccardo Muti for the Christmas season, the “Luigi Cherubini” Youth Orchestra and the Choir of the Siena Cathedral performed Cherubini’s Mass for the Coronation of Charles X.
At the end of the evening, the Pope presented Maestro Muti with the 2025 Ratzinger Prize in recognition of his artistic career. The event also aimed to raise awareness about educational emergency and school inclusion, promoted by the Pontifical Foundation Gravissimum Educationis, and the Dicastery for Culture and Education.
