Just as everything was set for the flight back to Rome after Pope Leo XIV’s visit to Spain, a technical issue forced a delay. The problem apparently involved the aircraft’s engine and strong winds. The King of Spain boarded the plane to bid farewell to the Pope, but moments later both men disembarked and went to the airport lounge while technicians worked to resolve the problem.
