While flying over Castagnaro—a small town in Verona—one will find the giant image of a nuclear missile, accompanied by the words “NO ATOMIC.” The message is cut directly into a wheat field that stretches across almost 300,000 square feet.

The Italian artist, Dario Gambarin, created the work using only a tractor and plow. With it, he intends to send a message to Russia and the United States not to engage in nuclear warfare and to achieve peace in Ukraine.

Gambarin—who creates artwork known as 'Land Art'—has previously dedicated several pieces to the theme of ecology. Among these works, he has engraved the faces of important figures into the ground, such as Leonardo da Vinci, Dante, Nelson Mandela and Pope Francis.
