But they are televised live; they are talked about in euphemisms and with apparent tolerance, but nothing is done systematically to heal the social wounds or to confront the structures that leave so many brothers and sisters by the wayside”.

Verbum, a comprehensive, interactive library to study faith with your smartphone

Often, finding teaching materials that include reliable information about religion and Church teachings can be complex and complicated. A smartphone app called Verbum aims to simplify the process. It includes a comprehensive, interactive library for studying Christianity with your smartphone.

If a user wants to better understand the Scriptures, Church Tradition, or explore the Bible, all of that information is available in the app.

Concepts of faith can be reviewed easily, and with a single click, it's possible to look up the definition of certain words. Each search term includes options for further study.

The app also includes maps and infographics which enable the user to locate where exactly some of the Bible's most important passages occurred. For example, it's possible to see where Jesus preached in Galilee. 

Users can also purchase books from the application and keep them stored on their smartphones.

The application is available in French, English, Portuguese, Spanish, and German. It is available both on Web browsers and as an app for iOS and Android devices.
