Philip Kosloski entered the seminary right out of high school but after three years of discernment, he realized he had another calling in life. Even though he did not become a priest, he still wanted to serve the Church in a creative way. So, he decided to put his website and graphic design skills to the test.

'Once I left seminary, I wanted to do more of that and use it as a way of Evangelization and to really bring the Gospel to the people. It was through that desire of wanting to Evangelize that I started to help out parishes and other organizations.â?

Philip illustrates popular images of saints and creates 'memes for social media. It did not take long before his unique talent garnered the attention of a well-known client; the Pope's Worldwide Prayer Network in the US. For the past couple of years, Philip has honed-in on his fascination with saints and recently wrote a book titled, 'In the footsteps of a Saint: John Paul II's visit to Wisconsin.

'It focuses on a rare visit of John Paul II before he became a pope to this little rural town in Wisconsin. I wrote it because growing up in this area it always inspired me to know that someone like John Paul II, a saint, was able to walk where I walked.â?

Philip writes about the historic visit that took place on August 23-24, 1976, when a young Cardinal Karol WojtyÅ?a, the archbishop of Krakow was welcomed and cherished by the people of a small town in Wisconsin. Unknown to them, he would one day become a pope and later a saint.

'Having a firm faith has really given me direction in my life and has given me great confidence in who I am as a person, as a child of God ,and has helped me to overcome my own weaknesses and to strive forward.â?

Philip is certainly a man of faith and many creative talents. His articles and graphic design
illustrations can also be seen on his personal blog, www.philipkosloski.com.
