Pope supports campaign to end sexual violence in wars

June 10, 2014. Pope tweeted his support for a campaign to end sexual violence in wars, as a four-day summit on the topic begins in London. Organizers will push for prevention training, more funds for victims and an active prosecution of perpetrators. On Tuesday morning, Pope Francis tweeted: "Let us pray for all victims of sexual violence in conflict, and those working to end this crime. #TimeToAct."
