Coinciding with the feast of the Sacred Heart, a Rosary Relay is scheduled for Friday, June 3 in more than 100 shrines throughout the world. One of the many recitations of the rosary will be held in St. Peter's Square at 6 p.m. Rome time.

This year marks the 11th annual Rosary Relay, which was started by Worldpriest, an organization that upholds the priesthood and strives to share its gift with the world.

The Annual Rosary Relay Day has the apostolic blessing of Pope Francis and is the record-holder for the most people in the world praying the same prayer for the same purpose, on the same day.

FR. MICHAEL SHIELDS
World-wide Rosary Relay for Priests
'We also pray for our priests. For our priests that they might find in their priesthood joy, that they might have hope that they can preach to the world and especially on this feast of the Sacred Heart that priests find the gift of holiness.â?

All are invited to attend and pray for this petition at the parish closest to them. For a complete list of participants, or to be a participant yourself, go to worldpriest.com.
