Pope Francis: do not wait to convert, one does not know when their life will end

In his daily homily at Casa Santa Marta, Pope Francis insisted on the importance not to exploit God's mercy.

“Do not say, 'God's compassion is great. He'll forgive me for my many sins,' and so I can go on doing what I want.” “Do not wait to convert yourself, to change your life, to perfect your life, to remove that bad weed we all have.”

The pope said one never knows when their life will come to an end. He invited Christians not to procrastinate; and take out five minutes a day to examine their conscience in order to convert their heart to God.

“Do not follow your instincts, your strength, indulging in the passions of your heart.”

“God's compassion is great, he'll forgive me my many sins.”

“Don’t wait to convert yourself to the Lord, don’t postpone it from day to day because the anger of the Lord will suddenly burst forth.”
