inParrocchia: an app that hopes to revolutionize communication within parishes

The “inParrocchia” app has two aims. The first is to strengthen communication and unity within parish communities. Second, to promote more awareness of the situation for Christians in the Holy Land and places of worship. This is because the app's designers are the Franciscan Custody and the Holy Land Foundation.

Each parish can customize the app according to their needs. In accessing the main menu, one can view parish bulletins, make donations, download readings for meditation, or contact other parish members and organize events.

Its founders hope the application will also help young people connect, since they are already attached to their phones.

In the “Itineraries” section of the app, one can find content related to the Holy Land and discover the mission of the Custody of the Holy Land; as well as how to help the Christian minority there.

The application is continuing to grow and for the moment it's only available in Italian. They plan to release versions in other languages soon.
