Pope to Augustinians: be witness to the charity of the Church

Augustinians welcomed Pope Francis with this song.

The pope greeted them in the middle of their General Chapter in Rome. There, he encouraged them to live in unity and charity as the fundamental point of their Augustinian spirit.

“You Augustinians have been called to witness to that warm, living, visible, contagious charity of the Church, through a community life that clearly manifests the presence of the Risen One and His Spirit.”

The Pope told them to take care of the details of life in the community, to live fraternally and love their enemies, so they become family.
