During his Mass at Casa Santa Marta, Pope Francis prayed for people living in fear because of the coronavirus.
Let us pray today for the many people who are not succeeding in coping, and remain in fear because of this pandemic. May the Lord help them get up, react for the good of society, of the entire community.
Pope Francis addressed a letter to the president of the Pan-American Committee of Men and Women Judges on social rights. In it he said the pandemic could become a sort of “viral genocide.” He praised governments who prioritize human life, despite the economic difficulties this entails. He said it would be sad to do otherwise.
