Pope Francis could launch new encyclical in September

Domenico Pompili is the bishop of Rieti. During a press conference on projects to commemorate the eighth centenary of various anniversaries of St. Francis, he mentioned that "the pope will soon publish an encyclical on Human Fraternity.”

The news has not yet been confirmed by the Vatican.

Some Italian media outlets assure that the pope wants to sign it on Oct. 4, precisely on the feast of St. Francis, and that it will be entitled "We are all brothers.”

POPE FRANCIS
May 14, 2020
“We are all brothers and sisters. St Francis of Assisi used to say, “All brothers and sisters.” Thus, men and women of every religious confession, we unite ourselves today in prayer and penance to ask for the grace of healing from this pandemic.”

Indeed, one of the lessons of the pandemic is the link that unites people's destinies, for the solution depends on everyone.
