Pope Francis met with a group of bishops from the Czech Republic at the Vatican.
The bishops are in Rome for their ad limina apostolorum visit, during which they visit the tomb of St. Peter and meet with the Pope.
The bishops gave Pope Francis a glass reliquary made in the shape of a monstrance, containing a small bone fragment of their region's patron saint.
-'It is authentic...from St. Zdislava.'
St. Zdislava of Lemberk was a Czech noblewoman known for her charity and care for the ill. She was canonized in 1995 by Pope John Paul II and is a patron saint of the Bohemia region in the western Czech Republic, as well as patron saint of difficult marriages.
