At the end of his meeting with the President of Cyprus, Pope Francis surprised the President's translator with a gift

It is normal for the Pope to give gifts to delegations, entourages and interpreters who accompany the people with whom he meets. But at the end of the meeting with President Nicos Anastasiades, the Pope realized that the translator had not received a gift. “For the lady,” he told his staff.
