Pope Francis met with the Centesimus Annus Pro Pontiff Foundation and the Strategic Alliance of Catholic Research Universities. He once again denounced the exclusion of women in throwaway culture.

POPE FRANCIS
We cannot remain silent in the face of this plague. Women are used. Here. They are paid less for being a woman. Be careful, because if they see you pregnant they won't give you a job. In fact, if at work they see you starting to show, they send you home. This is one of the methods used today to discard women.

The Pope stated that even if Artificial Intelligence exists, computers will never be able to replace what women can provide.

POPE FRANCIS
A characteristic inherent to women is that they embody being human in a marvelous way. I do not say exclusive, but wonderful. No machine will be able to do it because it can not feel the heart of a child beating inside it. Neither a machine nor a man can carry a child in their womb. They do not collapse tired and happy next to its child. A machine does not cry with pain or joy, sharing in the pain or joy of the people it loves.

During the last few days, including on International Women's Day, Pope Francis emphasized the fight against job discrimination towards women and their unique talents.
