Pope Francis to be discharged on Saturday and had pizza dinner with doctors and nurses

The latest news on Pope Francis' condition is positive. He will most likely be discharged from the hospital on Saturday. On Thursday evening, he had a pizza dinner with doctors, nurses, assistants and Vatican security staff.

On Friday morning, after breakfast, the Pope read the newspaper and continued with some of his work.

Late Thursday night, the Holy See Press Office revealed that Pope Francis was suffering from bronchitis. With the help of intravenous antibiotics, his condition has progressively improved.
