Similar to last year, St. Peter's Basilica is hosting a series of processions during the month of May to celebrate the Church's speical devotion to Mary.
On every Saturday of the month, beginning on May 6, the Basilica is holding a candlelight procession and recitation of the Holy Rosary. These processions are presided over by various cardinals or Vatican officials.
Additionally, at 4pm on every Saturday in May, a prayer path will take place around the icons of Virgin Mary inside the Basilica.
As usual, on the first Tuesday of every month, Eucharistic Adoration will continue in front of St. Peter's Basilica. This months adoration will be on Tuesday, May 9 at 8pm.
